Field of Work and Experience
Ashley has worked with adolescents for approximately 4 years, starting as a youth worker in residential services before working as both a family support worker and outreach case worker.
Ashley's current role has seen her work expand into areas of disability support, caregiver training and working with young children. She primarily works with individuals with behavioural and emotional challenges, supporting them, and/or their caregivers to overcome these challenges and build on their capacities as individuals.
Ashley has trained in a number of different psychological interventions, including cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) through CBT Australia and Centre for Community Welfare Training (CCWT) respectively. She also has experience in the administration of a range of psychological assessments.
Aspirations and Personal Interests
In her spare time, Ashley enjoys playing a range of sports and spending quality time with friends.
