Bachelor of Psychology, Graduate Certificate in Behaviour Analysis, NDIS Practitioner
Becky completed her Bachelor of Psychology in 2013 and her Post Graduate Certificate in Applied Behaviour Analysis in 2020. Becky is currently working towards Certification as a Board-Certified assistant in Behaviour Analysis (BCaBA).
Field of Work and Experience
Becky has worked in the OOHC - Out of Home Care sector with Allambi Care since 2014. Beginning as a youth worker, then casework before completing an internship as a provisional psychologist.
Having worked in OOHC and NDIS for the past 7 years Becky has a solid knowledge of working with children, adolescents and adults in the areas of mental health and challenging behaviour, with a particular passion for complex trauma, ADHD, anxiety and depression, anger management and developmental disabilities.
Becky has completed training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectal Behaviour Therapy and Applied Behaviour Analysis, utilising these modalities in a person-centered approach.
Becky has considerable experience in completing comprehensive assessments including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cognitive Ability, Learning Disabilities and Differential Diagnosis.
Aspirations and Personal Interests
Becky enjoys spending time keep up with her two fur babies, caring for her indoor plants and outdoor garden. Becky also enjoys dabbling in drawing and art.
