Bachelor of Social Science – Majoring in Community Welfare, Graduate Certificate in Behaviour Analysis.
Field of Work and Experience
Cassy has a passion for working with children and young people. For the last 7 years Cassy has worked with young people in a variety of settings including youth centers, schools, at home, OOHC and Residential Care. Cassy transitioned from the community welfare space into Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) in 2019 where she has been working primarily with young people and adults within the NDIS sector.
Since moving into the ABA field Cassy has worked with clients with high risk and high intensity problem behaviours.
Cassy has extensive history in running group programs and one on one sessions with teenagers to help teach new skills such as emotional regulation, anger management, social skills and support mental health. Cassy is passionate about teaching people the skills they need to increase their independence and have better access to the community.
Aspirations and Personal Interests
In her spare time Cassy enjoys spending time with her Groodle Riley, going for walks with friends, reading a good book and spending time with her family.
