Qualifications
Zac has completed training in Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Applied Behaviour Analysis, Season for Growth, and Institute of Positive Education.
Field of Work and Experience
Zac studied at Deakin University in Victoria.
Prior to working at Allambi Zac spent almost 3 years working as a Leader of Wellbeing in both the Primary and Secondary School settings. Here he delivered a wholistic wellbeing program to the students, staff, and families.
This role involved interim counselling support and teaching proactive skills to manage the stress and anxiety that comes with growing up, as well as providing evidence-based programs to assist students with grief and trauma or developing a growth mindset, as well as assisting students in transition from primary to high school or high school to university/employment.
Zac enjoys working with people to improve their quality of life, striving to provide evidence-based interventions and individually tailored sessions according to the client’s goals.
Zac has a talent for supporting people to develop their interpersonal skills, decision making skills and regulation skills to help them adopt a growth mindset, helping them keep on track to become the best version of themselves, as they seek to overcome any challenges present in their life or achieve any goals they are working towards.
Aspirations and Personal Interests
Zac has an enduring passion for surfing and hanging out with his wife, and two Border Collies George and Winnie especially at the beach.
Zac enjoys watching the NFL and follows the Cincinnati Bengals.
